John Hirt was the founder of
HIRT Combustion Engineers in the
mid-fifties and was located in
the Long Beach CA area. In
the mid-eighties the business
was liquidated after his passing
away. The HIRT Combustion
Engineers test and laboratory
equipment and intellectual
rights was purchased by Energy
and Environment Inc., of Long
Beach CA.
